Project COLORS International would like to say a huge Thank You for the funding received from Saga Charitable Trust.
We have been very busy and having so much fun coordinating projects around the community on Saga’s behalf, making sure that every last penny goes to where it is needed the most. There is so much need out there, so we work hard to choose the most sustainable projects to help with guidance and funding. The funding COLORS received from Saga has kept our team of volunteers very busy painting, furnishing and organizing our new HIV and AIDS program in KleinKrantz, South Africa, where mosaic making workshops will be held and donations distributed. We are very excited about our upcoming workshops, commencing in the fall...

The Story of Angie’s Kitty:
After hearing about the horrible treatment of one family’s kitten here in SA, Angie was quick to send us an e-mail to pledge help all the way from Alberta, Canada.
With Angie’s donation COLORS took in a small kitten that had been burned and mistreated by neighborhood kids. After 10 days, Angie’s kitty was running happy and healthy and was returned to its family... READ MORE

However, it was only a little insight into the informal township environment, in which most children grow up in South Africa...

Coming to South Africa and volunteering with Project COLORS has to be the best thing I have done in my life so far. I have experienced so much and really embraced every day.
