Through a fortunate contact with United Nations staff in the Dominican Republic, Project COLORS was given a special opportunity to send supplies to young girls aged 12-17; who were unjustly imprisoned in Haiti.

YOUR Project: What YOU can do on your next adventure:
Are you up to the challenge? Here are some things you can do when traveling to help make a difference…in a small way…your way...all over the globe.

Street Dog Project
In an effort to help the street dogs of the D.R, COLORS was fortunate enough to receive multiple donations of anti-parasite medication from the HOPE FOR WILDLIFE SOCIETY. Puppies and dogs in the Dominican are constantly abused and killed.

The International Distribution Program

The International Distribution Program is an opportunity where Canadian volunteers, leaving to work in developing countries, apply to Project COLORS International for resource materials to give to those in need overseas. They take these supplies directly to the communities they are working in. As shown below, our participants have distributed supplies to: orphanages, homes for street kids, AIDS care facilities, community development centers, aid missions and poverty stricken schools.
